Franschhoek is a charming town located 45 minutes from Cape Town. It’s part of the Western Cape, right in the heart of the Winelands. It’s easily accessible by car or uber.

You can either stay in Cape Town for the duration of your trip or book accommodation in Franschhoek for the night of the wedding.

Franschhoek is known for its beautiful wineries, so you may want to consider spending a couple of nights there to explore and make the most of it!

We will have a shuttle service running between the wedding venue and Franschhoek town, as well as a few shuttles returning to Cape Town.

Children are welcome to join us for the celebration!

Yes, there are both pre and post wedding activities!

However, we know this is a destination wedding and some people will be using this as their holidays so please don't feel obliged to come to all of them!

You will not need to pay anything for the kayaking, the hike or the beach day!

However, the boat trip and the Safari do carry an extra cost. We’ll be sharing more details for these activities in the coming months!

Yes - there is plenty of parking available at the wedding venue!

The ceremony and the reception will both be indoors.

The best way to get to Franschhoek is by car. It’s a 45-60 minute drive from Cape Town. You can either rent a car or take an Uber, which is very common and convenient for getting around!

February is towards the end of summer in South Africa, so typically warm and sunny during the day, with cooler evenings!
